McCall Wines
Russ McCall planted his first vineyard in the mid 1990s. 2007 was the first vintage worthy of bottling. Since then he has followed a model of winemaking focused on getting consistent results. Quality begins with farming. Their sustainable, low-yield vineyard practices allow their winemaker to work with only the finest grapes, the foundation of any distinguished wine. Pinot Noir – a difficult grape to grow on Long Island, is one of the many wines they produce that are consistently delicious. McCall was named “Winery of the Year” at the 2013 New York Wine & Food Classic.
