A Taste of The North Fork
Jeri Woodhouse’s A Taste of the North Fork produces jarred artisan goods like jams, pickles and olive spreads, vinaigrettes, sauces, spice blends and teas out of its commercial kitchen in Cutchogue. Her North Fork Specialty Kitchen creates private label goods for other businesses.
Backyard Brine
Backyard Brine is a specialty food company founded by husband and wife team Cori Anne & Randy Kopke. They produce all-natural pickled products, condiments and preserves.
The company was started in 2013 in their home kitchen with family recipes and produce from their backyard garden. Their first order was 100 jars of pickles as family wedding favors. They came up with names like “Dill Death Do Us Part”, “We Go Together Like Bread & Butter” and “Relish the Moment”. The pickles were a hit and Backyard Brine was born!
Balo’s Foods
Balo and his team have been producing prepared seafood specialties including their signature seafood stuffies, ceviche, oyster quiche, seafood salsa and more inventive items using local ingredients since 2016.
Blossom Meadow Farm
Blossom Meadow Farm, founded in 2009, is a small organic farm focused on growing premium berries, making award-winning jam and raising Mason bees – our native super-pollinators that do the crucial work to pollinate 2-3 times better than honey bees for a more complete pollination of a flower that results in higher quality berries and better yields.
cHarissa Spice
Specialty Food Association SOFI Gold Award winner cHarissa is a Moroccan style spice blend that enhances the flavors of food to bring all types of food alive! It’s good on everything, is gluten free and a better alternative to salt. Try it and you’ll agree it’s simply cHamazing.
Eggcellent Quiche
They produce a variety of savory quiches including broccoli & cheese, caramelized onions & goat cheese, scrumptious seafood and classic spinach & Swiss to delectable dessert pies including blueberry doobie, lemon chiffon, strawberry rhubarb and sweet potato. Yum.
Farmers Kitchen
Knowing where our food comes from and promoting eating local is at the heart of Farmers Kitchen. As farmers first and foremost, they focus on preserving the freshness of the local produce and bounty of the harvest all year round. Forward Roots
Established to provide high quality products that provide versatile, delicious adventures with a social sensibility. Their SOFI award-winning naturally fermented Kimchi Sauces, available in Original and Vegan, are the seasoning base for making kimchi and to use on a wide variety of foods for zesty flavor.
Holy Schmitt’s Horseradish
Holy Schmitt’s products are made by the four generation Schmitt farming family, produced from their own-grown coarse horseradish, and prepared without any preservatives. Their traditional white horseradish is a true classic with an extra hot kick. With six specialty flavors, there’s something to compliment every food and make any occasion special. They offer flavors for everyone – Beet, Mustard, Cranberry, BBQ, Cocktail and Hot Pepper Horseradish.
Life is Grruff
Creating healthy, wholesome treats for your K-9 kids is our passion. Life is Grruff is a bakery dedicated to the K-9 community. They bake all natural, gourmet, and wheat-free dog treats that are sure to please your pup. Available at Harbor Pet, Greenport Harbor Brewery and better pet supply stores across the country.
NoFo Pot Pies
Cooperage Inn owner Jonathan Perkins launched NoFo Pot Pies in Fall 2020 with savory chicken, vegetarian, turkey and short rib pot pies and dessert pies including key lime mousse and apple pear puff.
North Fork Potato Chips
Farming runs deep in Martin Sidor’s veins – his Polish grandfather started growing potatoes in 1910. When potato farming got tough, Martin and his wife Carol had the smart idea to make chips, and North Fork Potato Chips was born. They use their own-grown North Fork potatoes – “kettle cooked” with real sunflower oil and salt – and nothing else, which makes them extra crunchy and absolutely delicious. Voted #1 Specialty Chips.
North Fork Roasting Co.
Artisan coffee roasters Jennilee and Jess take coffee seriously – and strive to make sure every coffee bean they roast is the best it can possibly be. They approach every step of the coffee process with careful thought. Their expertise is finding and developing the true characteristics of each bean and making sure that the hard work put into the cultivation, processing and transportation of these precious beans is preserved to bring you a great cup of coffee. Every time! Their other delectable treats are yum too!
North Fork Sea Salt
Launched by chef Scott Bollman with his wife Kassata in 2013, North Fork Sea Salt is a small batch artisan producer that harvests each batch of salt from Orient sea water. Taken over by Dennis Borowsky, he continues the tradition and only harvests and bottles when conditions are just right, ensuring the highest quality of every small batch of sea salt. They utilize the ancient method of “fleur de sel” using fire, finished by sun and open air to produce the perfect finishing salt.
Plant Provisions
Plant Provisions was created by Mike Galbo in 2019 to bring a line of premium, plant-based products using only the highest quality ingredients to market. They make deli slices the same way deli has been made for centuries, relying on traditional aging and fermentation methods to bring a delicious flavor to all our slices – all are absent of any artificial flavors or preservatives and foreign processes that allow you to indulge guilt free! Plant Provisions is reimagining the deli in today’s plant-based world.

Stony Brook Incubator at Calverton
The Incubator provides a facility, support and structured growth path to food product companies to become successful on Long Island. The facility includes a shared-use commercial manufacturing kitchen to prepare and produce food products, with dedicated storage and operations space available as the need requires to help businesses scale – with the ultimate goal of outgrowing the facility to become sustainable. The 25,000 square feet facility currently supports over 40 food business companies.
